Godfrey Gill

Godfrey Gill is a Managing Director with Benefit Street Partners and is based in our New York office.

Prior to joining BSP in 2026, Mr. Gill worked at Vista Equity Partners in Capital Formation. Prior to his time at Vista, he worked at Lyrical Asset Management, Karsch Capital Management, Kingdon Capital Management and Goldman Sachs in a variety of executive capacities including client engagement, investment research, and portfolio management.

Mr. Gill received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Howard University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Mr. Gill serves on the Board of Trustees at Howard University and the Board of Advisors at the Frances L. and Edwin L. Cummings Memorial Fund.
