Sam Lerner

Sam Lerner is a Vice President and Counsel with Benefit Street Partners, based in our New York office. 

Prior to joining BSP in 2024, Mr. Lerner was an associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and Dentons US LLP, where he represented institutional investors on commercial real estate financing matters throughout all phases of the transaction lifecycle. Before that, he was a member of McKinsey & Company’s New York office. 

Mr. Lerner holds a Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law from the University of Richmond.
