Jamie Smith

Jamie Smith is a Managing Director and COO of US Direct Lending with Benefit Street Partners and is based in our New York office, as well as the COO of Franklin BSP Capital Corp.

Prior to rejoining BSP in 2025, Mr. Smith was Chief Operating Officer of Credit at Platinum Equity. Before that, he was a Portfolio Manager at BSP.

Mr. Smith received a Master of Business Administration from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College.
