David Cohn

David Cohn is an Executive Director and Head of Financial Planning & Analysis with Benefit Street Partners, based in the New York office.

Prior to joining BSP in 2025, Mr. Cohn spent thirteen years at Citigroup in various roles in Finance and Strategy, focusing on driving financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making. Previously, Mr. Cohn worked in investment management for Lehman Brothers Alternative Investment Management and JPMorgan Private Bank. 

Mr. Cohn received his Master of Business Administration, specializing in financial instruments and markets from NYU Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University.
